The Shaw-Walker Furniture Factory

This factory was built around the turn of the century. It's quite beautiful. Sorry the photo quality stinks...when the opportunity presents itself, one usually only has their cell phone camera handy.

Ott Chemical

Ott Chemical was a chemical plant in Dalton Township in Muskegon Michigan. They were shut down in the late 70's because they were dumping bad chemicals into the ground. This pollution lead to a multi million project to cleanse and restore the ground water to that which it was before this pollution came to be. The main factory was torn down, but the loading dock, head office, and a shipping station remain there, along with the newer water restoration plant.
